ADL8120 30kHz to 20GHz Low Noise Amplifier

Analog Devices Inc. ADL8120 30kHz to 20GHz Low Noise Amplifier delivers a typical gain of 14dB and a noise figure of 1.9dB from 30kHz to 14GHz. The Analog Devices Inc. ADL8120 has performance metrics that include an output power of 16dBm at 1dB compression (OP1dB), an output third-order intercept (OIP3) of 29.5dBm, and an output second-order intercept (OIP2) of 33dBm within the same frequency range. The amplifier operates with a nominal adjustable quiescent current (IDQ) of 55mA from a 3.3V supply (VDD). The DC-coupled RF input and output are internally matched but require external AC coupling capacitors and a bias inductor on RFOUT. The RF input is also biased via an external inductor connecting the VBIAS pin to the RFIN pin.
