Type 12 Mild Steel Miniature Pushbutton Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing Type 12 Mild Steel Miniature Pushbutton Enclosures accept 22mm miniature oil-tight pushbuttons, switches, and pilot lights, providing protection from dirt, dust, oil, and water. These MPB series enclosures are designed according to UL 508A Type 12 and 13 standards as well as CSA Type 12 and 13. The enclosures also comply with NEMA Type 12 and 13 ratings and IEC 60529 (IP54) protection standards. Hammond Manufacturing Type 12 Mild Steel Miniature Pushbutton Enclosures are built with formed 14- or 16-gauge steel, smooth seams that are continuously welded, and captive cover screws that thread into sealed wells. Welded brackets offer enclosure mounting, and the larger enclosures feature an internally hinged removable cover for easier wiring. These phosphatized enclosures come with an oil-resistant gasket and include two color choices: ANSI 61 gray or RAL7035 light gray powder coating.
