The lock is centered on the housing to prevent uneven locking and cable entanglement, which can occur with side locks. The DF50 housings feature thicker and more robust walls to avoid cracking. Contacts are securely held in place even when high forces are applied to the cable through a robust and reliable lance structure. These 1mm pitch Hirose connectors include a right-angle SMT version.
