Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

NP0 High RF Power Multilayer Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX NP0 High RF Power Multilayer Capacitors are designed for high RF power applications requiring consistent and reliable operation. A combination of highly conductive metal electrode systems, optimized case geometries, and proprietary dielectrics yields a low ESR. Spanning a capacitance range from 0.1pF to 5100pF, KYOCERA AVX NP0 High RF Power Multilayer Capacitors operate in a -55°C to +125°C temperature range and are available in either porcelain or ceramic materials.

800A/800B NP0 Porcelain High RF Power Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX 800A and 800B NP0 Porcelain Multilayer Capacitors (MLCs) offer low ESR due to a combination of highly conductive metal electrode systems, optimized case geometries, and proprietary dielectrics. The low-loss rugged dielectrics are designed to provide superior heat transfer in high RF power applications. Ultra-low ESR and superior thermal performance ensure these MLCs offer superior performance and reliable operation. KYOCERA AVX 800A and 800B NP0 Porcelain MLCs are ideal for applications such as circuit, VHF/UHF/HDTV broadcast transmitters, wireless communications, public safety radio, avionics, telecom, WiMAX, microwave communication systems, and satellite systems.
