Reed Switches

Littelfuse Reed Switches are ideal for battery-powered applications and automotive safety products. Reed switches have two ferromagnetic blades contained within a tubular glass envelope that is hermetically sealed at each end. Switches are activated by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, and the reed switch and magnetic field combination is commonly known as the "magnetic circuit."

MITI-7 7mm Ultra-Miniature Reed Switches

Littelfuse MITI-7 7mm Ultra-Miniature Reed Switches are normally open switches with a 7mm x 1.8mm glass envelope capable of switching 170VDC at 10W. Littelfuse MITI-7 has a sensitivity range of 6AT to 20AT, a high insulation resistance of 1012Ω minimum, and a low contact resistance of less than 150mΩ. MISM-7 is a surface-mount version of MITI-7.
