The FS8400 and FS8500 are designed in compliance with the ISO 26262 Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) standard for the functional safety of road vehicles. The nxp FS8400 is ASIL level B capable, and the FS8500 is ASIL D capable. All device options are pin-to-pin and software-compatible.
