Kinetis L Series Arm Cortex-M0+ MCUs

NXP Semiconductors Kinetis L Series Arm Cortex-M0+ Microcontrollers are an entry-level 32-bit MCU family built on the Arm Cortex-M0+ core. The Kinetis L Series combines exceptional energy efficiency and ease-of-use with the performance, peripheral sets, enablement and scalability of the Kinetis 32-bit MCU portfolio, while leveraging the inherent low-power and high-performance features of the Arm Cortex architecture. Manufactured using NXP's low-leakage, 90nm thin film storage (TFS) process technology, the Kinetis L series frees power-critical designs from 8- and 16-bit MCU limitations by combining excellent dynamic and stop currents with superior processing performance. A broad selection of on-chip flash memory densities and extensive analog, connectivity and HMI peripheral options enable increased energy efficiency and intelligence for a range of applications, including battery-operated devices, medical systems, smart meters and motor control systems.

Kinetis KL4x Microcontrollers

NXP Semiconductors Kinetis KL4x Microcontrollers, based on Arm® Cortex®-M0+ cores, combine ultra-low-power performance with a rich suite of analog, communication, timing, and control peripherals, including a USB 2.0 On-The-Go controller and a low-power segment LCD controller with support for up to 376 segments. The Kinetis KL4x MCUs also offer multiple flexible low-power modes, including a compute mode which reduces dynamic power by placing peripherals in an asynchronous stop mode. Integrated security circuitry prevents unauthorized access to RAM and flash contents. NXP Semiconductors KL4x MCU family is compatible with the Cortex-M4 based M4-based Kinetis K40 MCU family, offering a migration path to higher performance and feature integration.

Kinetis 32-Bit Arm® Cortex®-M Microcontrollers

NXP Semiconductors Kinetis 32-Bit Arm® Cortex®-M Microcontrollers consists of multiple hardware- and software-compatible ARM Cortex-M0+ and ARM Cortex-M4 MCU families with exceptional low-power performance, memory scalability, and feature integration. Families range from the entry-level ARM Cortex-M0+ Kinetis L Series to the high-performance, feature-rich ARM Cortex-M4 Kinetis K and include a wide selection of analog, communication, HMI, connectivity and security features. All Kinetis MCUs are supported by a comprehensive NXP and third-party hardware and software enablement system, reducing development costs and market time.
