ECW-F(D) Metallized Plastic Film Caps

Panasonic ECW Series Metallized Plastic Film Capacitors are now available in ECW-F(D) 450VDC. The ECW-F(D) are designed for DC applications that do not require a significant amount of pulse current, and for power factor correction and residential electronics applications. The built-in fuse function, combined with the small case size, make them appropriate for any application requiring DC linkage. Panasonic ECW Series Metallized Plastic Film Capacitors are small, low loss polypropylene capacitors with excellent frequency characteristics and low hum. The capacitors are available in 250VDC, 450VDC, and 630VDC, and 800VDC with a capacitance range from 0.1µF to 6.8µF (250VDC, 450VDC, and 630VDC), and from 0.010µF to 0.047µF (800VDC).

ECW Metallized Plastic Film Capacitors

Panasonic Electronic Components ECW series Metallized Plastic Film Capacitors are small, low loss polypropylene capacitors with excellent frequency characteristics and low hum. The capacitors are available in 250VDC, 450VDC, and 630VDC, and 800VDC with a capacitance range from 0.1µF to 6.8µF (250VDC, 450VDC, and 630VDC), and from 0.010µF to 0.047µF (800VDC). Applications for the ECW series include Lighting Control, Inverter Circuits, Active Filter Circuits, Snubber Circuits, High Frequency, and High Current Circuits.

Panasonic Polymer & Film MLCC Alternatives provide the opportunity to replace several MLCCs with one Polymer capacitor. These Panasonic polymer-based capacitors offer a performance edge over conventional electrolytic and ceramic capacitors when it comes to electrical characteristics, stability, longevity, reliability, safety, and life-cycle cost. The various polymer and hybrid capacitors have distinct sweet spots in terms of their ideal voltages, frequency characteristics, environmental conditions and other application requirements. Polymer capacitors come in four main varieties: layered polymer aluminum, wound polymer aluminum, polymer tantalum, and polymer hybrid. Target markets include audio, telecommunication, and lighting.
