VITA 42- SamArray XMC Standard Connectors

Samtec VITA 42-SamArray XMC Standard Connectors are solder ball-equipped SamArray connectors available in 10mm and 12mm stack heights. The solder options include lead-free and tin-lead alloys. These Samtec connectors follow VITA 42 XMC, a widely deployed mezzanine standard used in high-reliability computers implementing switched-fabric architectures. The XMC standard combines PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) with serial fabric technology on a proven mezzanine form factor. The VITA updated XMC's base specification to recommend solder ball connectors. These original parts employed paste-on-pad attachment, and recommended parts utilize modern solder ball technology.
