Si838x Multi-Channel Digital Isolators

Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si838x Multi-Channel Digital Isolators provide eight channels of 24V digital field interface to either sinking or sourcing inputs with integrated safety rated isolation. In combination with a few external components, the Si838x Digital Isolators provide compliance to IEC 61131-2 switch types 1, 2, or 3. The input interface of the Si838x is based on proprietary CMOS-based LED emulator technology, which enables the bipolar capability (sinking or sourcing inputs) with no power supply required on the field side.
