UA78L Positive Voltage Linear Regulators

Texas Instruments UA78L Positive Voltage Linear Regulators are designed for various applications. The UA78L series can be used for on-card regulation to eliminate the noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. The UA78L can also be used with power-pass elements to make high-current voltage regulators. The UA78L series regulators can deliver up to 100mA of output current. Additionally, the UA78L does not need an external capacitor for stable operation across the load current range. These regulators' internal current-limiting and thermal-shutdown features help protect the device from overload.
