Tantalum Capacitors

Vishay Tantalum Capacitors feature tantalum powder that is used in capacitors to allow for a very thin dielectric layer, providing high capacitance values in smaller case sizes. Vishay Tantalum Capacitors offer surface-mount and through-hole tantalum capacitors for use in automotive, military, portable consumer, medical, and many other applications.

TP3 Tantamount® Molded Case Capacitors

Vishay / Sprague TP3 Tantamount® Molded Case Capacitors are solid tantalum surface-mount capacitors that have a molded case available in five case codes and high ripple current carrying capability. This high-performance TP3 series has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, low ESR, compatibility with high-volume automatic pick-and-place equipment, AEC-Q200 qualification, and compliant terminations. TP3 case sizes B, C, D, and E are 100% surge current tested, and overall, these capacitors meet EIA 535BAAC and RoHS compliance to Directive 2002/95/EC. Vishay / Sprague TP3 Tantamount Molded Case Capacitors offer a capacitance range of 0.10µF to 470µF.
