TDK Chip Beads

Audio Filters, Inductors, Chip Beads, & Varistors

TDK Audio Filters, Inductors, Chip Beads, and Varistors are specifically designed to minimize distortion in audio lines while effectively suppressing noise. TDK Audio components include MAF and VAF noise suppression filters, VLS-AF inductors, MPZ-H chip beads, and AVR-M chip varistors. The MAF and VAF filters are manufactured using a proprietary low-distortion ferrite material to ensure high sound quality while effectively suppressing radiated noise. These filters can be used in conjunction with the MPZ-H chip beads and AVR-M chip varistors to effectively suppress noise and protect against ESD. 

MPZ-H Chip Beads

TDK MPZ-H Chip Beads are large current / low DC-resistance chip beads, designed in a standard 0603 or 1005 package sizes. These halogen-free chip beads provide a noise-reduction solution for power lines, with models available whose impedance values range from 22Ω to 220Ω at 100MHz. This line of the MPZ series features a -55° to 125°C operating temperature range and a 50% resistance improvement over existing -C type counterparts. TDK MPZ-H chip beads are ideal for noise removal in mobile devices (smartphones/tablet terminals), PCs, recorders, and household appliances.

PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications & Solutions

TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions feature TDK's expanded line of ALT series SMD pulse transformers to be used in combination with ACM and MCZ series common-mode filters. These are used in various PoE applications that are compatible with 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T, 10/100/1000BASE-T, and PoE+ (600mA) standards. PoE is a technology that allows electrical power and data transmission to be carried simultaneously through a single cable versus through a separate power cord and network cable. MPZ Multilayer Chip Beads

TDK MPZ Chip Beads support compact devices that need smaller spaces. These chip beads for power lines are offered in many sizes in their capacity as EMC countermeasure components. The modules can cope with a high current due to the low DC resistance, and the series features no cross-talk due to the closed magnetic circuit structural design. These chip beads are RoHS compliant. The TDK MPZ Chip beads can be used to remove power line noise in cell phones, PCs, TV tuners, and game machines.
